Mason Prep is well equipped with technology to help our students develop the computer skills that are necessary in today's information driven society.
 

- Technology lab features twenty-four student workstations,
  enough for each child to do individual work on his/her
  own computer.
- Mason Prep's traveling computer lab contains twenty-five   notebook computers capable of wireless comunication, allowing   teachers to bring technology to all students in their classes.
- Each homeroom comes to computer class in the lab at least
  once per week.
- Each classroom at Mason Prep contains computers
  available for student use throughout the day.
- Networked computers have continuous Internet connection.
- Technology curriculum develops computer skills, particularly
  tools for researching, organizing, and presenting ideas.


Grades 1-2
- Develop familiarity with computers
- Use computers to supplement math and reading skill
  development

Grades 3-6
- Develop touch typing ability
- Use technology resources for research purposes
- Use technology tools for individual and collaborative writing,
  presentation, and publishing activities

Grades 7-8
- Develop an understanding of hardware and software concepts
- Continue to develop technology research skills
- Use productivity and multimedia tools and peripheral
  equipment for personal productivity and group collaboration
  across the curriculum
