Afterschool Programs

Although the Mason Prep School day officially ends at 3:05 p.m., many options are available for students after school.

Extended Day

Offered on a flexible as-needed basis, the Extended Day program provides a supervised environment until 5:45 p.m., with time for homework as well as for recreation. Homework help is also available in Study Hall sessions conducted by staff members. For more information, please read the 2017 - 2018 Extended Day Handbook.

Afterschool Programs

"Mason Prep welcomes the opportunity to coordinate various afterschool programs with outstanding organizations and professionals. Our programs provide our students in every grade with opportunities to expand their horizons through the arts, athletics, culture, math, science, strategy and engineering. The participants also continue to develop skills in the areas of communication, participation, fair play and persistence as the different activities broaden the world around them." - Roseann Jordan, Assistant Head of School

First Semester, 2017  2018

To Enroll: The application must be returned as soon as possible to the instructor (ALONG WITH YOUR PAYMENT), either directly or via your student’s homeroom teacher as directed on the information form. Our classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and enrollment is limited in several activities. There are also a few activities where there is an enrollment deadline for planning purposes. Please be prompt so that your child will not be disappointed. We look forward to another semester of wonderful after school activities here at Mason Prep.

Pick-Up: Please note, at the end of each class, students should be picked up from the covered driveway in front of the school, with the exception of soccer players and Bumblebeezus Books participants, who will be picked up on Bull Street. The instructor will escort the students to the area. Please be on time, and please do not come into the building to pick up your child. If a child is not picked up within ten minutes, he/she will then be checked into our Extended Day program where an additional fee will be charged.
