A Mason Prep Education

Academics at Mason Prep: A Challenging, Encouraging Private School Education in Charleston, SC.
At Mason Prep, you will discover a nurturing environment that encourages students, faculty, and families to work and learn as a team.
Our programs are designed to cultivate intellectual potential while also developing the whole child. We are a Pre-K-8 school by design and see incredible benefits from this model.

Our lower school (Pre-K-4) is a place where students build strong foundations across the core subject areas that set the stage for all future learning. In intermediate school (grades 5-6), students develop as critical thinkers, strong collaborators, and good citizens. When they move on to middle school (grades 7-8), they are ready to embrace their unique passions, explore leadership roles, and take on more challenging academics in preparation for high school and college.

Our advanced curriculum is taught with respect and love. We go beyond the state standards to challenge our students while supporting them every step of the way. To see those “a-ha” moments and daily triumphs that lead to confidence in and out of the classroom is what we cherish as educators.
