How to Apply

Mason Prep welcomes applications from talented, motivated students. We look forward to the opportunity to meet your family and for you to meet ours through the application process.

1. Get in Touch - To begin the process, simply contact our Admissions office by phone or email (see below) or by submitting an online inquiry. We are happy to answer any questions you may have and send you our information.
   
   
2. Visit - The best way to determine if Mason Prep is the right school for a student and his or her family is to visit. Appointments are best scheduled when school is in session. Visits include personalized, one-on-one campus tours, classroom observation, and meeting potential teachers. We also hold open houses which offer a great first look at Mason Prep.
   
   
3. Apply – Fill out an application either by downloading our application or by requesting an application through the mail. Applications include an application form, academic transcript, and teacher/school recommendations. A transcript request form should be submitted to your child's current school.
   
   
4. Test - Applicants for grades 1-8 must take an entrance test, and we host classroom observations for our kindergarten applicants. The testing dates are below, and we will contact you ahead of your date with instructions and to answer any questions. Prospective Kindergarten and First Grade Family Open House
Sunday, October 7, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Prospective Kindergarten and First Grade students and their families are welcome to drop in, see the school, and speak with our teachers and students.

School Day Open House for Parents
Wednesday, October 17, 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.
Tuesday, November 13, 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.
This school day Open House provides parents with the opportunity to see engaged students and engaging teachers.

Observation Dates for Kindergarten Applicants

January 12, 2019, 9:00 a.m.

Testing Dates
January 26, 2019, 8:30 a.m. (1st Grade)
February 2, 2019, 8:30 a.m. (Grades 2-8)
