The best way to determine if Mason Prep is the right school for your student and family is to visit. We offer several ways to come and get better acquainted with our school.

List of 3 items.

  • Open House

Open Houses offer a great first look at Mason Prep. The dates for our 2020 Fall Open Houses have passed, but we would love to schedule a private tour. See the contact information at the bottom of the page to get in touch.
  • Personal Tour

During a visit to Mason Prep, you will tour the campus, observe our classrooms in action, and meet potential teachers.
  • Shadow Days

For grades 2-8, our shadow days let prospective students experience a day at Mason Prep. Due to COVID, we have not yet scheduled Shadow Days for the 2020-21 school year.

Fill out an online application. In order to access our online system, you will receive login information from the Admissions office. Applications include an application form, academic transcript, and teacher/school recommendations. The online application process will walk you through how to gather and submit these items.

Applicants for grades 1-8 typically take an entrance test, and we host classroom observations for our kindergarten applicants. We have changed this due to COVID (see below). Also, we are happy to observe and test prospective students individually (see below for contact information). You can read our Q&A about why we have testing and observations, and what is involved with each (please keep in mind there are changes due to COVID).

List of 2 items.

  • 1st - 8th Grade Testing

Due to COVID, prospective 1st-8th graders will not take an entrance test. We are requiring families to provide teacher recommendations and transcripts.
  • Kindergarten Observation

Due to COVID, kindergarteners will meet one-on-one with a teacher to enjoy time at several play centers. Observations will take place on Saturday, January 4, and families are asked to schedule a time to participate (please contact Admissions to schedule a time).

Upon receiving a letter of acceptance, return the admissions contract to the Admissions office.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

To schedule a tour, inquire about observation and testing, or ask questions, please call or email.
