Introducing Mason Prep's Pre-Kindergarten Program

We love this age and stage and are excited to offer a learning environment that will give students a head start as they begin their educational journey.
The Mason Prep Pre-K program will be different from traditional preschool programs as it will provide more structure and an emphasis on academics and Kindergarten readiness. Our program is a perfect fit for students who may not be quite ready for kindergarten and need a more robust academic experience.

Our Pre-K class will be a small, loving environment where teachers know each student and can provide instruction based on how they learn best. Learning will happen in ways that will fuel students' imaginations and spark their curiosity. We want students to love coming to school and to look forward to learning each and every day.

Our Program

List of 3 items.

  • Foundational Learning

The Mason Prep Pre-K program is focused on academics and Kindergarten preparation. Lessons will be taught in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate way to foster a love of learning. Support and encouragement are cornerstones of our program, helping our youngest Knights build their confidence and independence.
  • Special Areas & Engagement

Pre-K Knights will enjoy many opportunities for engagement and experiential learning. These include special area activities such as art and music and in-school field trips. We believe that experiences outside of the academic curriculum are essential to a rich education and that these experiences help our Pre-K students begin learning about leadership, character, and dedication to community.
  • The Knight Community

While our Pre-K students will have their own room, they truly will be part of our Mason Prep family. They will see older students in the hallways and will hear morning announcements about students' accomplishments such as Knight of the Day and the Reading Wall of Fame. Our youngest students will begin to learn the importance of learning and character, the foundations of an MPS education.
